Hope and Healing for Women Veterans Coming to Mankato

[Mankato, MN] – December 19, 2025 – APX Construction Group is proud to support and amplify the next chapter of Bravo Zulu House, a local nonprofit expanding its mission with the development of a women’s sober living home for Veterans in Mankato. This new home will provide a safe, trauma-informed environment designed specifically to support women Veterans as they heal, recover, and rebuild their lives after service.

Bravo Zulu House has already made a meaningful impact in the region through its first Veteran sober living home. The upcoming women’s house responds to a critical and growing need, creating housing that recognizes the unique challenges faced by women Veterans, including PTSD, substance use recovery, and reintegration into civilian life.

“As a construction company rooted in this community, we believe it’s our responsibility to support projects that strengthen Mankato from the inside out,” said Jamie Jacobs, VP of Sales and Marking. “This isn’t just about building a structure, it’s about building stability, dignity, and opportunity for women who have served our country.”

Community collaboration will be essential to bringing this project to life and ensuring its long-term success.
