Mankato, MN (January 6, 2026) – The Mankato Figure Skating Club will host the 22nd Annual Bend of the River Figure Skating Competition on Saturday, January 17, at the newly remodeled All Seasons Arena in Mankato. More than 200 figure skaters from across the region will compete in this exciting, all-day event.

The competition follows a day of U.S. Figure Skating–sanctioned testing on Friday, January 16, and will feature skaters of all ages and skill levels competing across a wide variety of categories. Events will run from approximately 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, offering spectators a full day of impressive athleticism and artistry on the ice.

Admission to the Saturday event is free, making this a great opportunity for the community to experience the excitement of competitive figure skating.

On Sunday, January 11, starting at 5:45 pm, the Mankato Figure Skating Club will host its second annual Little Blizzard Ice Exhibition. The general public is invited to come watch the performance of MFSC skaters of all ages, levels, and abilities as they show off their competitive programs. The event will take place at All Seasons Arena, offering free admission.
