Mankato, MN (Monday, August 18) – The Mankato Figure Skating Club (MFSC) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the Learn to Skate program, welcoming new and returning skaters of all ages to the ice as part of the Club’s Basic Skills group.
The Learn to Skate program is designed for children and adults who want to develop fundamental skating skills in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Whether skaters dream of pursuing figure skating, hockey, or simply want to enjoy the joy of gliding across the ice, Basic Skills classes provide the perfect foundation.
“Our Basic Skills is where skating journeys begin,” said Sarah Otto, the club’s Basic Skills Director and Instructor. “We love watching skaters grow in confidence, balance, and skills each session.”
Small group classes are taught by experienced, certified instructors and include a progression of levels tailored to each skater’s abilities. MFSC skates at All Seasons Arena in Mankato, with skate rental available on-site. Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. No prior experience is required and all ages are welcome.
