MANKATO, MINN. January 29th, 2024 – WEB Construction Co., Inc. has been presented an Eagle award from Associated Builders and Contractors Minnesota/North Dakota chapter for their Dotson Wellness Center addition.

The project was given the highest honor of Eagle for recognition of outstanding achievement and workmanship with a nod to Productivity. WEB Construction CEO, Josh Williams, Dotson Iron Castings VP, Liz Ulman, ISG Senior Project Manager, Justin Steffl, Malterer Mechanical CEO, Mike Malterer, and VP, Mark Prange were present and honored at the 2023 Excellence in Construction Gala in Minneapolis last Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.

WEB Construction also proudly partnered with Cambria Surfaces Mankato, Deep Foundation Group, Dirt Merchant Inc., DJ Siehndel Construction, Greener World Solutions, Kato Roofing Inc., Kingdom Builders Masonry, Laketown Electric, Olympic Fire, Palmer Soderberg, Pietsch Construction, Reichel Insulation, Rickway Carpet, Right-Way Painting, Ross Thate Custom Welding, Roy C, Inc., Schwickert’s Tecta America, LLC, Sign Pro Mankato, South Central Erectors, W. The Dotson Wellness Center project, completed in February 2022, was a 22,800 square feet addition to the existing Dotson Iron Castings building on Rock Street in Mankato. Dotson tasked WEB Construction with a two-level creation that rerouted their entryway and parking areas also including, offices, an innovative co-ed locker room with individual changing/shower rooms and gender-neutral bathroom facilities, a substantial break room on the second level with ample natural light designed around a food market concept that included a partnership with a local distributor, a rooftop patio with a capacity of around 250, and additional quiet spaces, training rooms, and a conference room overlooking the foundry.

The ABC’s Awards of Excellence Program is a premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the nation. The ABC MN/ND Excellence in Construction Gala honors Minnesota and North Dakota contractors within several project categories for their winning projects in a competition against submitted entries and graded by a panel of judges.
