MOMF 48 Hr Band Challenge

The MOMF 48 Hour Band Challenge is a Minnesota Original Music Festival event where musicians from across the state of Minnesota are randomly placed in bands and asked to develop a short set of music including an original, a cover, and a cover that includes various randomizers (these vary year to year, randomizers from last year’s contest included changing the lyrics of a song into a hot dish recipe, changing the style of a piece music to match a well-known Minnesota artist, changing instruments in the middle of the song, etc.). The Challenge includes two separate events, the Band Challenge Draft held Wednesday, July 17, 5:00 pm at Paddlefish Brewing, Saint Peter, & the Band Challenge Contest held Friday, July 19, 6:00 pm at Patrick’s on Third, Saint Peter.
