ISG Field is located in Franklin Rogers Park and is home to the Mankato Moondogs, Bethany Lutheran College Vikings, Loyola High School and Mankato Area Public Schools’ West High School. The Mankato Area Youth Baseball Association (MAYBA) also uses the facility as a youth asset.

ISG Field was named the “Best Renovation” by BallPark Digest in 2018 after a series of renovations, which cost about $4 million, provided enhanced player and fan experiences and increase ballpark usage, such as tournament play, recreational leagues and other events. Funding was financed by sales tax proceeds and the Mankato MoonDogs.

Formerly known as Franklin Rogers Park, the Mankato MoonDogs announced in October of 2020 a new naming rights partnership with ISG, a Mankato-based architectural and engineering firm, to re-name the facility to ISG Field.

The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center Grand Hall is a flexible space with retractable first-floor seating. This space can accommodate up to 2,000 people theater-style, and up to 1,000 people with rounds. The Grand Hall also features two lobbies perfect for pre-wedding or social hour space.

Reception Hall
Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center’s historic Reception Hall, also known as the Ellerbe Room, was built in the early 1900’s as the First National Bank and is classified as Mankato’s 14th Heritage Preservation Landmark. The building was tied into the design of the Civic Center in 1995. The building was designed by St. Paul architects Ellerbe and Round and features original bank vaults, brick architectural accents that include Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired stained glass windows, and intricate hand-crafted details. The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center Reception Hall is the perfect unique location for wedding ceremonies, bridal showers, groom’s dinners, social hours, and intimate meetings and gatherings.

Ellerbe Room
The Ellerbe Room is Mankato’s 14th Heritage Preservation Landmark. The building features original bank vaults, brick architectural accents, and stained glass windows.

The Minneopa Golf Course has been serving the greater Mankato area for over 75 years. M.J. Donndelinger started construction on the course is 1928 and it was opened to the public in May of 1929. The course was designed by Donndelinger and John McRae, who was the club professional at the Mankato Golf Club at the time.

A tragic accident led to Donndelinger selling the course to Henry (Hank) Bohks in 1930. This started the first of three generations of the Bohks family owning and operating the Minneopa Golf Club. After Hank suffered a heart attack while playing the 9th hole and passed away, the course’s management was turned over to his son, Kenneth Bohks. He operated the course with his wife, Donna, and his sister, Elaine in the early 1960s. Kenneth and Donna operated the course until 1997, when his son, Kyle, and daughter-in-law, Tracey, purchased the course from them.

In 2014, Minneopa Golf Course had a fire that burned down the clubhouse. Kyle and Tracey operated the rest of the season, but felt it was time to move on. In the spring of 2015, the Minneopa Golf Club was purchased from the Bohks family by an investment group in Mankato.
