2023 Legislative Session Preview Forum

Tuesday, December 13, 2022   |   7:30 - 9 am
South Central Service Cooperative, 2075 Lookout Drive, North Mankato

A new year, a new Minnesota Legislature. Democrats now have a "trifecta" -  a majority of seats in both the House and Senate in addition to Governor Walz being reelected. What does this mean for Mankato and area businesses? After an election in which all 201 legislators were on the ballot, there are 70 new legislators, 58 of which are true freshman having never held office. What will the priorities of these new legislators be with a Legislature that is controlled by Democrats? We will dig into these questions and more!

Join Greater Mankato Growth and your fellow colleagues for a preview of the 2023 Minnesota legislative session. Our panel of local legislators will discuss their priorities for the upcoming session as well as hear Greater Mankato Growth’s policy priorities and what is means for our community. Attendees will also have a chance for Q&A so you can engage directly with our local legislators on the issues most important to you.

Senator Rich Draheim (invited)
