Advertising & Promotions

All Greater Mankato Growth members are eligible to sign up for the following advertising opportunities, unless otherwise noted. 

 

Member eNews Advertising

Promote your business and special offers in the Member-2-Member section of Greater Mankato Growth eNews, emailed every Tuesday to approximately 2,500 business representatives. Our eNews average open rate is 35%, which is higher than the industry standard.

eNews Ad Cost: $85 per week
(5 available per week) 

  • Up to 75 words (including the title)

  • One image (700 wide x 300 tall pixels @ 72 DPI; JPG/PNG)
  • Maximum of five (5) ads per issue

Note: There is a limit of three consecutive ads from the same business. Ads will be rotated and placed in a random order each week to maximize visibility of all advertisers. Business news may include, but aren't limited to press releases, company-wide news, and employee recognition (such as new hire, promotion, individual employee recognition, awards, and certificates). Business Focus

Share your story in a 60 - 90 second video format and put it in front of thousands of followers by signing up for the Business Focus, a campaign available to our members for a nominal fee. Your message will be shared on social media, our website, and eNews, reaching business leaders, employees, and residents of the Greater Mankato area, and beyond.

Topic ideas: company/organization history, the X-factor of your business/your why, important projects, recent accolades, company future, sharing your expertise, and more. Videos will feature your business logo and may include up two business representatives on camera discussing your business and industry, promoting current or upcoming events, and more. Greater Mankato Growth staff will assist in the creation of the video, typically recorded at your business site (15-mile radius from Mankato).

As you receive this benefit at such a nominal cost, Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. reserves the full property ownership of each video. You will receive a Greater Mankato Growth YouTube link to share on your website, social media, etc.

As a Greater Mankato Growth member, celebrate your business or organization's milestones and achievements with Greater Mankato Cavaliers visits to raise exposure and awareness. Member milestone celebrations are shared on Greater Mankato Growth social media and in Minnesota Valley Business Magazine.

Business After Hours

Business After Hours, a series of monthly events, is a great opportunity for our members and their employees to connect and visit with one another in an informal atmosphere. These events are hosted by a different member business each month. BAH takes plece every first Tuesday of the month (dates shifted to second Tuesday if event falls on or near a major holiday). Projected attendance: 110. Registration for Business After Hours sponsorships closes at midnight on November 1, 2022.

Greater Mankato Young Professionals

Greater Mankato Young Professionals (YP) provides networking opportunities to professionals age 21 - 40 through a series of social, professional development, and community engagement events. Sponsoring Young Professionals puts your business in front of more than 160 emerging community leaders, as well as thousands of individuals interested in developing, retaining, and connecting talent in our community. This is a year-round program, offering two sessions a month.

Greater Mankato on the Green is an annual tournament that provides a first-class opportunity for interaction with more than 200 member businesses while enjoying 18 holes of golf. The event will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Mankato Golf Club.

What's Brewing?

CityArt Walking Sculpture Tour

The CityArt Walking Sculpture Tour, a program of the City Center Partnership and Twin Rivers Council for the Arts, provides a year-round professional sculpture exhibit, featuring various styles, types, and sizes of sculptures from a broad range of local, regional, national, and international artists. CityArt obtains sculptures on loan from artists each year, paying them with a stipend with incentives, including the People's Choice Award.

Bonus Gift Card Program & Let It Glow, Kato!

The Bonus Gift Card Program provides an incentive for the community to show love and support for our local businesses in City Center Mankato and North Mankato.

Let It Glow, Kato! helps promote City Center Mankato and North Mankato by encouraging businesses to decorate for the holiday season.

Mankato Marathon

The Mankato Marathon tradition started in 2010 with an amazing 2,200 runners. The ten-year anniversary was celebrated with 4,100 runners and more than 8.000 spectators. The event continues to continue to evolve as a Bold Race, Exceptional Place. In 2021, the runners represented 32 states with 78% residing in Minnesota, 61% women and 39% men, and the average age between 30 and 49 years. The Mankato Marathon, a Visit Mankato event, is held in October (October 20 - 21, 2023).

The Mankato Marathon offers a la carte sponsorship options, Expo booth options, and volunteers opportunities for the weekend.
