In celebration of manufacturing in South Central Minnesota, we are excited to showcase manufacturers each October during the South Central Tour of Manufacturing. Manufacturers across the region have opened their doors to high school students to showcase their facilities, products, machines, and the variety of opportunities in their in-demand and high paying sector.

This magazine highlights each contributing manufacturer, featuring company information, fun facts, and career paths. While the in-person tours are reserved for students and educators, the information here offers everyone a chance to explore what is happening inside local facilities they drive past every day and learn about the wide range of careers available in modern manufacturing.

Manufacturing employers are hiring and are excited to show the variety of careers they offer, including finance, production, engineering and design, marketing, IT, robotics, organizational development, maintenance, human resources, and more. Manufacturing is in-demand and offers a wage much higher than the regional average.
